Before Kitchen.....After Kitchen

Just had to post pics of my new range hood, subway tile backsplash, and under cabinet halogen lighting in my kitchen! Read my "Busy As A Bee" post below for a description of what I did. (Or rather, what I paid someone to do.)

How funny Cynthia...I was getting on here to let you know you need to post pictures of your kitchen---since it turned out AMAZING...and you already had!
It looks great!

Cynthia, You probably think I am a blog stalker, but I promise I'm not! Came across your blog before Christmas and I just really seemed to like you. Your very funny! A Bountiful girl myself, stuck in Prescott, AZ, I think it was Mnt. Timp on your header that caught my attention. I also love that your "out of control." That's just fabulous! We need more of those in our LDS community. I love what you create, cook, and I'm totally jealous you recieved a Le Creuset for Christmas.. I want one in red!
Your kitchen looks beautiful. I bet you just want to be in it all the time now. How do you find out who has links to your blog? If you think I'm crazy I can remove your link:)

That hood means business. LOVE the subway tiles. Congrats- it has really lightened up your kitchen.

Nicole--
You can sign up for blog stats at statcounter.com.

I love comments! So no, I don't think you're stalking me. Us homemakin-lds moms need to stick together.

My blog title of 'are you ready for this, I'm out of control' comes from the recurring skit of Regis Philbin on Saturday Night live in the early 90s. The title, Deep Thoughts, is also a knock-off from SNL. Now who's weird?

ILENE--My new hood does mean business. I keep looking for reasons to cook food that create lots of smoke--just to get my money's worth. ;)

I'm a big fan of those subway tiles. Will you come and tile my kitchen now? they would go so well with my white cabinets, I think!

Hah! Too bad you're not the kind of cook who does create smoke with every meal! You'd really get your money's worth, then.

I thought your kitchen was beautiful before, but it is simply gorgeous now. (O:

Looks totally fabulous Cynthia-and I'm sure the food you make in it is equally so.
