Nothing will give me more pleasure in life than to see that my children are happy, successful members of society. Ah, but will they be able to a 
make a bechamel sauce or perfect huevos rancheros? Such are the questions that keep me up at night. In an effort to teach my children to cook (they’re getting there!) I bought this book on Saturday. I’ll admit I am a sucker for any overpriced item from Williams-Sonoma, including their luscious cookbooks. (Ok, so I like their free website for recipes better.) So far my kiddos have made the biscuits/shortcakes for strawberry shortcakes and tonight we made the chocolate crinkles . Next up? The pretzels. Hot chewy bread covered in salt. mmmm. Finally, an activity I truly do enjoy doing with my children. Sure beats foul-smelling Play-Doh activities. Tastier too.
