A fun-filled evening was had by all in our little family. We stayed home, cooked dinner, frosted cupcakes, watched old family videos, and let the kids watch the ball drop in NYC at 10pm. For dinner we had pan-fried tilapia and parmesan risotto. I’ve decided after several attempts that risotto isn’t worth the hype. Give me a regular rice pilaf any day rather than ladling in hot stock slowly for 45 minutes. Yawn.

Sign me up for another batch of these cupcakes and we still have half the batch left.
Love the peanut butter frosting.
I could have done without the review of my fashion choices from 1990, but the kids enjoyed it all the same.
You are so great! Sounds like a great night!
Look at your fancy new blog layout. How did you do that? It isn't LiveWriter, right?
We spent our new years eve driving back from Spokane with a nice puke stench thanks to Thomas' upchuck in the car earlier in the drive home.
I so need one of Ina's pb cupcakes.
I want to move in with you! You always make such yummy things. You need to teach me to cook. Mike would be in heaven!
Shar--you are sweet! YOu can move in, do you mop floors?
Ilene--yes, windows live writer rules! although you still have to mess with the settings for pictures more than i'd like.
I love, love, love those cupcakes! Sheesh...now I'm going to need to make some this week.
Your house looks so cute. I want to go with you to that furniture store in Lindon next time you go.
