I got the idea from seeing a five-year gardening journal.

http://disorganizedthoughts.wordpress.com/category/food/

My problem is that all my meals are cleverly disguised taco bars--trying to serve vegetarian teens, carb-avoiding husband, and unadventurous small children.Johnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00773075683946846125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14261219.post-66912210337072741022008-04-04T13:27:00.000-06:002008-04-04T13:27:00.000-06:00Hey winwards. I like to cook. Its the only way I can get good mexican food here in Florida.

We usually have chinese take out once a week, tacos once a, grilled chicken breast once or twice a week. Once a week we are both usually too tired and its a fend for yourself night. And that leaves date night resturant.

We do eat lots of chicken and from time to time we have ground beef. And once a month we splurge and buy some steaks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14261219.post-9766791047891599952008-04-01T11:05:00.000-06:002008-04-01T11:05:00.000-06:00Thank you for comment on my blog. I do cook from scratch 90% of the time, but it is usually simpler fare because of my work schedule.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14261219.post-81639033901362121202008-03-29T20:22:00.000-06:002008-03-29T20:22:00.000-06:00Winnie,You can come to dinner any night still. Always be prepared though for some negative feed back from the people in this house under 4 1/2 feet tall.

Dad, I'm a good cook cuz of mom. What an example!

Jessica,
Welcome aboard!

Paul,
I am grateful you have stuck to our pre-marriage agreement of me doing the cooking and you doing the nightly dishes. I'm not good at cooking when Dan is not in town. Jackson thinks getting cereal for dinner as a culinary delight and Thomas is oblivious to it all.

Some of the items on your list are making my mouth water... I often wonder...Cynthia...your cooking is amazing! I often wonder if I will ever be able to eat as well as I did when living under your roof! I was so spoiled! Thanks you, thank you!

Unfortunately, now all I eat for dinner (pretty much) is wheat toast....pathetic I know, but I can't get myself to cook a decent meal for just one....and fast food is just out of the question! Too bad the wheat bread seems to like to stick to my thighs!!!Winhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03830729799182212410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14261219.post-48304956004661983552008-03-28T21:22:00.000-06:002008-03-28T21:22:00.000-06:00Hey don't forget that I help take care of the dish...Hey don't forget that I help take care of the dishes!

We had pizza tonight after you posted this - another delicious meal. And you forgot about chili I was eating those leftovers this past week.

And you need to include blueberry pie along with the chicken on Easter. It may have been dessert but it is worth mentioning.

You don't see any results? How about extremely happy tastebuds? How about a full stomach (probably too full actually)? Kids that expect to be served a vegetable at meals even when visiting others' homes?

Keep racking up the kitchen hours Cyn.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13708813780220229238noreply@blogger.com
