In the News

For better or worse, I was featured in The Daily Herald newspaper and then the very next day on KSL Radio. I've decided I hate being interviewed because facts get lost and I get misquoted. Almost makes me feel sorry for celebrities. (almost) The sad part about being in the news is all the negative comments that quickly follow--there are some meanies who commented on the ksl broadcast and sound so bitter you wonder if they suck on lemons all day to keep up such a demeanor. Nonetheless, read or listen to the broadcast if you so desire.

Oh, and buy the way, I do not work 5-6 hours a day. Yikes! More like 2-3 hours.

  1. Okay, so I read the comments on KSL. So dang hilarious. Some of those people obviously live for making snarky comments. Such sad souls.

My favorite comment was: She just had to cherrypick the right husband who made the big bucks enabling her to stay home all day with the kids for a few hours and the girlfriends the rest.

Yeah, you really cherry picked a big money maker in Paul as he was a penniless student with another few years of school ahead of him when you guys got married. Of course you did live in a super nice basement apartment (ha!).

Obviously a single man wrote this or a woman who picked herself a lousy unsupportive husband.

I find it sad that people have to bash on other's successes.

  3. Just don't think about moving into some mansion far from here with all your millions! You just stay right here and let us lowlies suck up your talents! :) Cool on the interviews!

  4. Well, I'm sure all those crazy comments are at least creating lots of traffic to your etsy site. Some people really have too much time on their hands. I for one am totally impressed with what you do. You've really found something great.

  5. I am not at all surprised at the un-invited rancor. I don't care what you post or where you post it on the internet, there are always people ready to look for the downside or call you down. The world is full of wacky nuts. Don't be surprised if your website or story has been turned into the IRS by the cry-babies accusing you of dodging taxes. They live to spoil others happiness.

  6. How do you manage to only work 2-3 hours a day and still be so successful? I'm having a hard time keeping up right now, not on etsy but I've been doing boutiques. Although I guess it's hard because I still have little ones (including a 9 month old!) I'm so impressed with you! You're my idol! Lol.

  7. Did you happen to mention to KSL that you are just some lady that grew up in Chino, CA and went to DAL?! That might have been the icing on the cake. I love knowing that I have an old friend that is a "celebrity"! Way to go Cynthia, you inspire my wife and that is cool. Later--

  8. I read some of the comments for curiousity .. people are mean!!!

Good for you to create your own business to be proud of. Your work is beautiful as are the homes that host it. You should be proud for finding a way to be creative and contribute financially for your family while still taking care of your family the way YOU want to.

Way to go! I know you have no idea who I am but after all the horrible comments I had to say something!!
